Update Friday 19 January:
As you all know the rifle and pistol ranges have been closed this Wed-Fri for berm improvements. We lost Wednesday this week due to weather. The excavators have made great progress over the last few days and will be grooming the ranges to be open this weekend for use. They will, however, be right back at it on Monday. All rifle/pistol ranges will be closed Monday the 22nd through Wednesday the 24th. Ranges should all reopen on Thursday barring any unforeseen problems. PLEASE REMEMBER, the skeet and trap fields will be open! We absolutely do appreciate your patience and as always are striving to make FRGC a little better, and safer, every day. Thanks for the support and understanding.
Update Thursday 18 January: The weather kept the trucks and equipment out yesterday, but they are moving some serious dirt on the berm improvements today! Members please be patient if the weather yesterday has the rifle and pistol range closings go into the weekend! These improvements are for everyone’s safety and the betterment of the club as a whole.
Our apologies for the late notice, but ALL RIFLE AND PISTOL RANGES WILL BE CLOSED Wednesday through Friday of this week. We have a very rare opportunity to get approximately 500 dump truck loads of dirt for the upcoming berm renovations/improvements, but we have to act immediately. What this means for the club is that we will literally be saving hundreds of thousands of dollars for both the dirt and trucking fees. What this also means for the club is that in making this arrangement, we will be accelerating our timeline on some much-needed improvements to our berm infrastructure. This means providing a better and safer range complex for each and every member and guest of FRGC. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we hope that you are as excited as we are about even more things taking place to make FRGC better and safer every single day!
ROAD LEADING INTO CLUB MAY BE ROUGH AND DIFFICULT FOR LOW RIDING VEHICLES TO PASS DURING CONSTRUCTION.
Please contact any board member with questions or concerns.
